The USV-JSC is an organization focused on augmenting the Regular and Reserve forces in two areas. First, the USV-JSC provides trained and uniformed volunteers who may be called upon to render final military honors to deceased veterans at national and local cemeteries. Second, the USV-JSC fills the gap when and where needed by proper authority in incidents of civil emergency management.

Thank you for your interest in the United States Volunteers – Joint Service Command (USV-JSC). The USV-JSC provides flag folders, the salute by a rifle squad, an honor guard and a Chap- lain. We are a “seamless” uniformed, dedicated, experienced, mili- tary force dedicated to meeting the extensive requirements of burying our brothers and sisters in arms. We put “Boots on Graves” as was intended by Congress before this severe shortage of uniformed men and women arose.
